Preclinical R&D Expert, ADC & Bispecifics

Review technical materials and real R&D data from ADC and bispecific programs, label and classify scientific data and model outputs, and give expert views on key development decisions such as target and modality selection, optimisation, trade-offs and risk. You also help set structure and quality standards for the client's dataset pipeline and take part in expert discussions. Ongoing, part-time, about 10 hours a week, remote, independent contractor.

Who it suits

  • Hands-on, non-administrative preclinical R&D experience at a company that develops its own drug assets in-house and has taken programs to the clinic
  • Direct experience with antibody-drug conjugates and/or bispecific antibodies
  • Work in a core R&D function (discovery biology, medicinal chemistry, antibody engineering, computational, in vivo or translational, pharmacology and PK/PD, toxicology, or CMC and formulation)
  • About 5+ years of industry R&D experience, flexible on depth
  • Not a fit if the background is mainly CRO or CDMO services, academia only, QC only, clinical development only, diagnostics, or regulatory writing

Estimate your earnings on this role

A hypothetical calculation from the numbers you enter. It is not a promise of work or earnings. Most of the difference between a headline rate and what you take home is how much of your time has paid work in it.

Slow assumes 60% of your expected paid hours, fast assumes 125%. The rate used for tasks is the fee, less unpaid tasks, divided by the time one task takes.
